Established in November 2024, the Transportation Gap Elimination Public-Private Partnership Platform is advancing initiatives nationwide to eliminate transportation gaps by utilizing advanced knowledge and technologies.

The selected projects are organized into four fields: joint initiatives and collaboration across multiple sectors, prefecture-led system development, housing complex revitalization, and the promotion and advancement of joint management.
Projects by Yonago City, Hokkaido, Ikeda City, Miki City, and Hiroshima City were selected. Their contents include full utilization and resource sharing of regional transportation resources, utilization of Hokkaido's transportation resources, housing complex revitalization centered on Fushiodai and a multigenerational exchange facility, and a case study toward establishing a joint management scheme for scheduled bus services.
