Overview
The Act Partially Amending the Act on Revitalization and Rehabilitation of Local Public Transportation, promulgated on June 10 this year as Act No. 35 of 2026, seeks to realize sustainable local public transportation by fully utilizing local transportation resources and promoting joint operations and collaboration to eliminate transportation deserts and other issues.
In connection with the entry into force of the amending act, an order arranging the necessary provisions of the relevant enforcement orders will be established.

To address the renumbering of provisions in the Act on Revitalization and Rehabilitation of Local Public Transportation as amended by the amending act, the necessary provisions of the following enforcement orders will be arranged.
The enforcement orders subject to amendment are [1] the Enforcement Order of the Act on Special Taxation Measures (Cabinet Order No. 43 of 1957) and [2] the Enforcement Order of the Act on the Efficiency of Physical Distribution (Cabinet Order No. 298 of 2005). The order will be promulgated on September 4, 2026, and take effect on October 16, 2026, the date the amending act enters into force.
