2025-Crop Rice: July 2026 Relative Transaction Prices and Volume

The review of rice policy beginning with the 2018 crop aims to develop an environment in which producers, collection businesses, and organizations can produce rice in line with demand based on independent management decisions and sales strategies.

As part of this effort, since March 2014, more detailed information has been provided on supply, demand, and prices related to rice distribution, as well as sales progress and inventories. This release covers the July 2026 relative transaction prices and volume.

The published materials show the relative transaction prices and volume reported by rice shipping and sales businesses, organizations, and others, and form part of the provision of supply, demand, and price information related to rice distribution.

Prices for each producing region, variety, and brand are the weighted average prices for first-grade rice under relative transaction contracts, including freight, packaging, and consumption tax. Volume is the total quantity under those contracts.

The attached materials provide the relative transaction prices and volume by producing region and brand, while the survey-target businesses and compilation categories are shown in the footnotes to those materials.
