The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will hold Circular Economy (CE) Action Week from October 1 to 7, 2026. Overview
Circular Economy (CE) Action Week is a one-week initiative in which the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and participating companies collaborate to practice and communicate circular economy actions. Held in conjunction with October's 3R Promotion Month, it advances initiatives based on reduce, reuse, and recycle.
The initiative supports the efforts and communications of companies and organizations while broadening understanding of the circular economy and consumer participation.

The CE Action logo will be distributed to member companies and organizations of Circular Partners (CPs) that support the initiative and implement activities contributing to the circular economy, and they will be encouraged to use it in their own communications.
On October 3 and 4, an event is scheduled at MARK IS Minatomirai in Yokohama City where participants in CE Action activities, such as resource sorting, will receive a ticket allowing them to enjoy one free play of the game Pac-Man.
Participating companies will offer fashion rentals, collection and recycling of used containers, circular furniture, PET bottle-to-bottle recycling, recycled home appliances, Gunpla recycling, reuse, toothbrush recycling, and clothing and other repairs and remaking.
The venue is the Grand Galleria on the first floor of MARK IS Minatomirai; event hours are scheduled from 10:00 to 20:00, with final admission at 19:00.
