It will create a system centered on the Tama region to provide prompt, detailed support in accessible locations for companies seeking overseas expansion. Agreement-signing ceremonies and opening commemorative events will be held, and an opening commemorative seminar will explain overseas expansion.
The target audience is mid-sized and small enterprises interested in overseas expansion, including both companies newly undertaking overseas market development and companies already engaged in such efforts.

Specialized advisors with expertise in overseas expansion, known as Overseas Business Sherpas, will provide consultations, develop and guide the pathway for companies seeking to export or expand overseas to reach overseas markets. In light of increasing instability in the overseas business environment, they will support information gathering and strategy reviews.
The desk will operate across two locations on different weekdays: the Hachioji location inside the Hachioji Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tachikawa location inside the Tachikawa Central Library. The Hachioji location will be available Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while the Tachikawa location will be available Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
An agreement-signing ceremony and opening commemorative events will be held at both locations. Each event will have a capacity of 60 people. The seminars will explain overseas expansion amid an increasingly uncertain international situation from the perspectives of trade and investment, trade rules, and business insights. Hachioji will hold an opening ceremony and seminar, while Tachikawa will hold only a seminar.
