Late-Elderly Medical Care Program Report

The “Report on the Medical Care Program for the Elderly Aged 75 and Over” presents the “Statistics Overview,” “Purpose of the Statistics,” and “Tabulation Results,” and provides links to the glossary, notes on use, errata information, and list of statistical tables. The list of statistical tables leads to the e-Stat homepage, the government's comprehensive portal for official statistics.

It also includes sections for “Publication Schedule,” “Past Information,” and “Inquiries.” The publication schedule distinguishes between the annual program report (final figures), corresponding to the survey fiscal year, and the monthly program report (preliminary figures), corresponding to the survey month.

The published content includes the purpose of the statistics and tabulation results, as well as a glossary [PDF format] [72 KB], notes on use [PDF format] [72 KB], and errata information. The list of statistical tables provides a link to the e-Stat homepage, the government's comprehensive portal for official statistics.

The publication schedule is as follows: the annual program report (final figures) is published around the end of the fiscal year following the survey fiscal year; the number of insured persons in the monthly program report (preliminary figures) is published about three months after the survey month; and the status of medical benefits is published about six months after the survey month.
