Overview
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism annually honors outstanding initiatives related to the Circulation Sewerage concept, which creates sound water circulation and resource and energy circulation, through the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, known as the Circulation Sewerage Awards. For FY2026, the Grand Prix was awarded to the initiative by Gunma Prefecture and two other organizations titled “Gunma Prefecture Sewerage Pipeline Disaster Response Training: The ‘Gunma Model for Protecting Human Life,’ Developed through Cooperation among Sewerage Managers, Firefighting Agencies, and the Association of Pipeline Management Industries.”

The awards ceremony will be held from 13:15 to 14:00 on September 10, FY2026 (Thursday), in the shared conference room on the 10th floor of Central Government Building No. 3, 2-1-3 Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda City, Tokyo.
