14th Aviation Infrastructure International Development Council General Meeting

Overview
The Civil Aviation Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established the Aviation Infrastructure International Development Council to actively promote the international development of Japan’s aviation infrastructure by responding to strong global demand for aviation infrastructure.
The council has advanced various public-private initiatives, including strengthening the presence of Japanese companies by making use of public-private missions and intergovernmental meetings. This general meeting will be held to review progress on these initiatives and facilitate information and opinion exchanges among members.

The general meeting will be held in a shared conference room on the 10th floor of Central Government Building No. 3 in a hybrid format combining in-person and online participation. The agenda will include reports on initiatives for the overseas development of aviation infrastructure and an exchange of views.
The meeting will be closed to the public, but filming will be permitted at the beginning only. An outline of the proceedings and related materials will be published later on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism website. Those wishing to cover the meeting should apply by referring to Attachment 2 and follow the staff’s instructions on the day. If applications exceed the room’s capacity, they will be accepted in order of arrival.
