Singapore and India Adopt Roadmap for Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong made an official visit to India from September 2-4 and held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two countries adopted a roadmap for their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) and agreed to strengthen cooperation in 8 areas. 【8 Areas of Cooperation】 (1) Economic cooperation: Initiation of third review of India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), substantial achievement of ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) review in 2025 (2) Human resource development (3) Digitalization (4) Sustainability (5) Connectivity (6) Healthcare and medical services (7) People-to-people and cultural exchanges (8) Defense and security cooperation Economic aspects include support for semiconductor industry and joint development of sustainable industrial parks.
