Overview of the 3rd Japan Civil Aviation College Training Study Group
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced that it will hold the 3rd "Study Group on Japan Civil Aviation College Training" on August 20, 2025 (Wednesday) from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Special Conference Room on the 8th floor of Central Government Building No. 3. This study group was established to deepen consideration of initiatives for stable training at Japan Civil Aviation College, based on the final summary of the "Study Group on Human Resource Development and Utilization of Aviation Mechanics and Pilots" compiled in March this year.
Background and Purpose of Study Group Establishment
Personnel shortages in the aviation industry have become a serious challenge, and stable training and securing of pilots is essential for the sustainable development of the entire industry. Japan Civil Aviation College is positioned as the core institution for pilot training in Japan, but issues exist in constructing efficient and effective training systems. This study group aims to organize the issues identified through previous discussions and clarify specific directions for improvement.
