Major receipt dates were the 2nd for consumption tax, corporate tax and other taxes, as well as insurance premiums, and the 15th for withholding income tax. Government bonds with maturities over one year were issued on the 1st, 7th, 9th, 13th, 15th, 21st, 23rd and 28th.
Major payment dates for contributions to medical benefits for the elderly aged 75 and over and related payments, as well as regular pension payments and related items, were both the 15th.
Receipts comprised 7.2603 trillion yen in the general account and 6.8733 trillion yen in special accounts and other accounts. The breakdown was 634.2 billion yen for Fiscal Investment and Loan Program funds, 971.1 billion yen for Foreign Exchange Funds, 5.0203 trillion yen for insurance, and 247.7 billion yen for other items. Tax receipts in the general account were 6.8224 trillion yen.
Payments comprised 5.2367 trillion yen in the general account and 12.9573 trillion yen in special accounts and other accounts.
