The survey is conducted every month to track changes in the supply and demand, prices, and inventories of major construction materials needed for construction work, by material and region. This survey covered seven materials and 13 items, including ready-mixed concrete, steel, and timber. Compared with the previous month, prices were unchanged for all surveyed materials, supply and demand were balanced for all, and inventory levels were normal for all.
The inventory survey covers only aggregates (sand, gravel, crushed stone, and recycled crushed stone), deformed reinforcing bars, H-beams, and timber (lumber and plywood for formwork), rather than all materials. Detailed results are provided in the attached document.
