On September 8, 2026 (Reiwa 8), the 22nd Japan-Korea Road Exchange Conference was held in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea shared knowledge on road-sector topics.
At the conference, the participants confirmed that they would continue technical exchanges.
