Advisory Opinion on JR East Fare Cap Change Appeal

This matter concerns an advisory opinion on an appeal regarding approval to change the passenger fare cap for East Japan Railway Company. The Transport Council is described as a permanent body that receives consultations on licenses, approvals, and other matters handled by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and issues fair and reasonable advisory opinions based on views from various parties.
