FY2026 2050-Led Housing Promotion Project Selects 27 Projects
Overview
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism selected 27 projects featuring model initiatives devised by private-sector operators and others to promote the development of housing stock that enables residents to continue living and maintaining their livelihoods during natural disasters and other emergencies. There were 53 applications, and the selections were decided following evaluations by academic experts and others. The ministry is considering a second and subsequent application round and will announce it separately if held.

Overview
The FY2026 2050-Led Housing Promotion Project promotes the development of housing stock that enables residents to continue living and maintaining their livelihoods during natural disasters and other emergencies through model initiatives devised by private-sector operators and others.
In the FY2026 application round, 27 projects were selected following evaluations by academic experts and others.

Eligible applications are projects featuring model initiatives devised by private-sector operators and others. Applications were accepted from May 28 to June 25, 2026, and the submitted projects were evaluated by academic experts and others.

A second and subsequent application round is under consideration. If another round is held, the ministry will announce it separately.
