The main items that moved downward in terms of the month-on-month change in the June year-on-year rate were advertising, accommodation services, machine repair, ocean freight transportation, and other real estate rental. Advertising fell from 2.0% year on year to -1.3%, while ocean freight transportation fell from 61.8% to 52.8%.
The June year-on-year rates were 8.3% for accommodation services, 2.0% for machine repair, 3.6% for road freight transportation, and 3.1% for office rental.
International transportation comprises five items: international air passenger transportation, ocean freight transportation excluding ocean tankers, ocean tankers, international air freight transportation, and international postal services. In the table, r indicates a revised figure.
The contributions to the June year-on-year change in the overall average were 1.03 percentage points for various services, 0.86 percentage points for transport and postal services, 0.56 percentage points for information and communications, 0.55 percentage points for leasing and rentals, 0.19 percentage points for real estate, and 0.04 percentage points for finance and insurance. Advertising contributed -0.06 percentage points.
The weight of the overall average was 1,000.0. The weights of the main major categories were 371.7 for various services, 230.8 for information and communications, 161.7 for transport and postal services, 89.9 for real estate, and 57.8 for leasing and rentals.
