Overview

Evaluation of the implementation status of the Osaka-Yumeshima District Integrated Resort (IR) development plan for FY2024, published by the Japan Tourism Agency with final update on August 8, 2025. This conducts annual evaluations based on law regarding IR development plans and publishes the results. The Osaka-Yumeshima District is recognized as Japan's first integrated resort project, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of its development plan progress ensures appropriate project promotion. Evaluation results are published as detailed materials (PDF 126KB), with the Director-General for International Tourism serving as the contact window. Positioned as part of important policy processes aimed at ensuring transparency of integrated resort projects and supervising appropriate business operations, it serves a progress management role toward forming internationally competitive tourism bases. It will continue to be evaluated and published as important measures in promoting Japan as a tourism nation.
