Survey on Industrial Safety and Health (Fact-finding Survey) - FY2024 Results

Overview

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published the results overview of the "Industrial Safety and Health Survey (Fact-finding Survey)" conducted in fiscal 2024 (Reiwa 6). This survey is an important statistical investigation conducted annually to understand the actual conditions of industrial safety and health. The survey consists of two aspects: establishment surveys and individual surveys, with separate result reports created for each. Materials including survey overviews, result overviews (by establishment and individual surveys), glossary of terms, and usage notes are provided in PDF format. Chart data is available in Excel format, with press release materials and overview materials available as PDF files for printing. The survey is conducted by the Wage and Welfare Statistics Office under the Director-General for Policy Planning and Coordination, led by Director Emiko Toyama and Assistant Director Hiroyuki Okamura, with practical work handled by the First Safety and Health Section. This survey serves as essential basic data for policy formulation and effectiveness evaluation under the Industrial Safety and Health Act, providing indispensable statistical information for policy development aimed at improving workplace safety and health environments.
