Economic Trend Index: Releases, Series, Criteria, and Archive

This page is organized into notices, preliminary releases, series, criteria for trend assessment, comparisons of old and new seasonal adjustment models, an archive overview list, and contact information. The material dated March 9, 2026, covers “L10 Investment Environment Index (Manufacturing)” and “Lg5 Corporate Tax Revenue,” while the material dated March 25, 2026, covers “C4 Labor Input Index (Total Surveyed Industries).” The original text identifies these material titles, covered series, and publication dates.

The 2026 archive overview lists monthly materials from January through May, with an overview, preliminary release materials, and a revision for each month. For 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021, monthly materials from January through December are provided, with an overview, preliminary release materials, and a revision for each month. In other words, the list contains January through May for 2026 and 12 months each for the other five covered years.

The notices explicitly state, “Starting with the January 2021 preliminary release, the figures reflect the 13th revision.” This indicates on the page that figures from the January 2021 preliminary release onward are figures after the 13th revision. However, the original text does not specify what was changed by the 13th revision or provide the index values themselves for each month.
