Food Safety Educational Initiative: "What is Food Safety? Let's Learn and Experience Together, Parents and Children!"
Overview The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), in collaboration with the Consumer Affairs Agency, Cabinet Office Food Safety Commission, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, will participate in events in Tokyo and Osaka to provide educational opportunities about food safety, primarily targeting elementary school students and their parents.

METI's Role METI will provide clear explanations about the safety of ALPS-treated water through mini-lectures and educational materials, promoting public understanding of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant treated water release process based on scientific evidence.
