Japan Finance Corporation published survey results compiling management indicators such as profitability and productivity of small enterprises by industry.
This survey analyzes small enterprise management conditions based on financial statement data, implemented biennially by industry. In August 2025, fiscal 2024 data for construction and manufacturing industries was newly published, while fiscal 2023 data for information and communications, transportation, wholesale and retail, restaurants and accommodation, medical and welfare, education and learning support, and services was already published in August 2024.
Survey results are provided as detailed analytical materials in "Complete Version," "By Industry," and "By Employee Scale" (with additional "By Sales Scale" and "By Region" for construction), enabling multifaceted understanding of management indicators for each industry. Manufacturing provides large-volume data of 887KB complete version and 788KB by industry, while construction includes regional analysis, implementing detailed analysis according to industry characteristics.
Next survey result publications are scheduled for August 2026 (fiscal 2023 survey target industries) and August 2027 (construction and manufacturing), establishing systems enabling continuous management indicator understanding and industry trend analysis.
