Survey Results on Rice Trading Stakeholders' Judgments (June 2025)

Results of the monthly survey on rice supply-demand trends and price levels conducted by the Rice Stable Supply Support Organization, published on July 4, 2025. The survey shows significant deterioration in staple rice supply-demand conditions, with the current situation DI dropping from 88 in May to 52 in June (a 36-point decline). The outlook DI also fell from 73 to 43 (a 30-point decline). Price level expectations for the next three months declined significantly, with the outlook DI falling to 35, below the 50 neutral level, indicating growing expectations of price declines.
