Current Status of Satellite Broadcasting and 4K Broadcasting: Satellite Broadcasting Working Group (13th Meeting) Distributed Materials

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications held the 13th meeting of the Satellite Broadcasting Working Group in July 2025, distributing detailed analysis materials on the current status of satellite broadcasting and 4K broadcasting penetration. This meeting conducted comprehensive examination of future prospects for satellite broadcasting and policy challenges against the backdrop of digital broadcasting technology advances and diversifying viewer needs. Regarding the current status of satellite broadcasting, BS broadcasting household penetration rate is approximately 78%, and 110-degree CS broadcasting is approximately 45%.
