Reporting Ordinance Rates for October Reiwa 7
The International Department of the Bank of Japan announced on September 19, 2025, the reporting ordinance rates to be applied during October, Reiwa 7 (2025), as exchange rates determined by the Minister of Finance pursuant to Article 35, Paragraph 2 of the "Ordinance on Reporting Foreign Exchange Transactions, etc." These rates are used for conversion between currencies other than US currency and US currency.

Exchange rates against US dollar for major 7 currencies:
- Canadian Dollar: 0.725 US dollars per 1 CAD
- Chinese Yuan: 0.140 US dollars per 1 CNY
- Swedish Krona: 0.104 US dollars per 1 SEK
- Swiss Franc: 1.24 US dollars per 1 CHF
- British Pound: 1.35 US dollars per 1 GBP
- Euro: 1.16 US dollars per 1 EUR

The reporting ordinance rates cover over 60 currencies including currencies from Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Major emerging market currencies include Korean won at 0.0720 US dollars per 100 KRW, Indian rupee at 0.0114 US dollars per 1 INR, and Brazilian real at 0.184 US dollars per 1 BRL.

These rates serve as official rates for yen conversion of foreign currency-denominated transactions in various reports based on the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act.
